Right after her Communications degree, Pinky started her experience in film by enrolling herself in a Producing and Directing summer course in the University of Southern California. For several months, she immersed herself in Film editing.

Pinky started her online editing career in 1997 with Roadrunner Network in Manila, Philippines where she worked on TV commercials using Quantel's Henry. By 2001, she moved to Singapore and joined Infinite Frameworks where she continued her online editing, again using Quantel's Henry and soon migrated to Smoke.  Regional work included network promos and vignettes for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon TV shows. She also worked on local Singapore shows for MediaCorp like KCTV Wow, In Our House, Like My Own, Tiramisu, Villa Wellness and Front. Feature films she had finished include Talking Cock the Movie,  Royston Tan's 15, 881 and 12 Lotus, Jack Neo's I Do, I Do, and Money Not Enough 2, Gone Shopping by Wee Li Lin, Brian Gothong Tan's Invisible Children, Michael Wang's The Carrot Cake Conversations, and Eric Khoo's My Magic.

From 2009- 2012, Pinky ventured onto freelancing, where she also dipped into offline editing, producing, and directing corporate videos and webisodes. Her freelancing on Smoke had led her to work on TV commercials in Jakarta, Manila and Hongkong.
